Jana Kramer is a country performer, singer and songwriter who rose to stardom on the television screen when she was cast as Alex on One Tree Hill for the final three seasons. The show showcased her first albums as country music, propelling her 2012 debut album to the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One by 2015 was her follow-up album and climbed to Number Ten. Over the past decade, she was a guest as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars as she did in TV films and several TV programs. She also released some singles which weren't albums. The self-doubting Voices saw release in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native, who grew up on country music. Though she had a recording and acting career, her debut on screen took place in the independent horror film Dead/Undead (2002) while still in high school. Following a couple of guest appearances in All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's recurring role in NBC Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season, 2007-2008. Kramer was in 90210 from 2008 to 2009 as Portia as well as Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009, where she played the role of Alex Dupre. She remained on the show until 2012 when the series was cancelled. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her get a recording contract from Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary country love song I Won't Give Up. The track later appeared on her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. The track was featured on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart in the Top Five. Her focus was on her musical career thereafter without retiring from acting she was a part of films like Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would appeal to her music fanbase. Her second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15, 2015. I Got the Boy - the album was a Top Five Country hit - as well as Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead vocalist, singing a duet on to make it into the top 10 of the Billboard 200. The two-month stint on Dancing with the Stars 23rd episode ended up with her finishing fourth. Also, it was the year that she landed an adult contemporary success with her song Feels like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
