LadyLady Gaga is an American pop singer, songwriter, and actress with a net worth of $320 million. Lady Gaga is also known as Stefani Angelina Germanotta. She began her career in burlesque and musical theater in New York's East Village. After years of struggle and then finally becoming big in 2005 when she recorded her first album and wrote songs for Fergie, Britney Spears and the Pussycat dolls. Even though the album she released "The Fame" was only moderately successful in the early days, "Just Dance", the single that debuted from the album, was a massive success five months after. Her constant touring throughout Europe and smaller clubs in the US has paid off and by the end of 2009, several tracks from the album became routine fixtures on the radio and she was a recipient of several Grammy nominations and two Grammy Awards, for all of her dedication and perseverance. The music she has released has proven to be a massive hit and continues to be a major news story. A vocal social activist as well as naturally a showman, her arrivals at awards shows are always greeted with their own specialized coverage.
