
Colson Baker, born April 22nd 1990 was an American rapper, singer-songwriter, actor, and songwriter. His dual genre of hip-hop and alternative rock is what earned him fame. He released four mixtapes from 2007 through 2010, and then signed to Bad Boy Records. He released his debut studio album entitled Lace Up, in 2012, which peaked at fourth place on the US Billboard 200 and contained his breakthrough single "Wild Boy" (featuring Waka Flocka Flame). General Admission (2015) and Bloom 2017 were his third and second albums. The latter album featured the hit single "Bad Things", which was sung by Camila Cabello. The song peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. His fourth album, Hotel Diablo (2018) included rap music. Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album Tickets to My Downfall was released in 2020. This album marked an unorthodox departure from hip hop , and was a step into the world of pop punk. The album reached the top spot on Billboard 200 and was the only rock album that reached that position. The track "My Ex's Best Friend" was also able to climb to the top 20 of the Hot 100. It also had a similar commercial success with its follow up Mainstream Sellout (2022).Machine Gun Kelly had his debut role as the lead actor in the romantic drama Beyond the Lights (2014) In the following years, he was in the techno-thriller Nerve (2016) and the horror film Bird Box (2018), the comedy Big Time Adolescence and portrayed Tommy Lee in the biopic The Dirt (both 2019)
